Moving customers to Galanta

 

 

Easily move your loyalty program over from your current provider to Galanta. Your customers will be able to maintain their existing points balance and can join in 2 clicks.

 

Export a list of your customers and their points balance form your existing loyalty provider. Most loyalty platforms allow you to download a list of your customers, their email and points balances. If you need help, please reach out to our support team here

 

Reformat the sheet to show only the following 4 columns and save this as a csv file

First Name  | Last Name  |  Email  | Points Balance

It is important to ensure that the points balance you will be uploading from your previous provider is consistent with what you have set up in Galanta 

Example:

Previous provider: 5 points = $1

Galanta: 1 points = $1

It is recommended that you update your Galanta clubs points to match your previous points ratio OR readjust the points for the customers you are uploading to match the Galanta points ratio

Navigate to the customers tab and click on the “Upload” button

Upload your CSV file in the format described above

Select whether you would like to send customers an automatic invitation email with a link to join your club

Once your customers have been uploaded you will be able to see the ones that have already joined your club as “Active” and the customers that are yet to join as “Pending”

If a customer is already active, any points that you upload will be added to their existing points balance

Sending out reminder emails and posting to your brands social media is also a great way to let customers know to join your Galanta club! 

You can also couple this with bonus sign up points for an extra incentive for customers to join
