Customer Groups

Customer groups allow you to create a reward for specific customer segments. You have the option to set up your groups to automatically add customers based on their email domain or you can create a manual group where you choose which customers to add.

Customers groups are great for:

Corporate discounts – customers with verified work domains are automatically added to a group and can access corporate rewards.

Exclusive groups  -  schools, soccer teams, new customers, students – you can be as creative as you like.

 

How to set up a customer group

Navigate to the customers tab and select customer “Groups”

Select “Create customer group” to set up your customer group 

Name: Create a name for your group – this is only visible to you

Description: This is only visible to you

Email domain: You can choose to enter an email domain or leave this blank (manual and auto group below)

Manual group: if you are looking to set up a manual group where customers will have different domains such as for a sports team etc , leave the email domain blank. You will have to manually add customers to this group (shown in next step)

Auto group: If you would like to have customers automatically added to the group, you can enter an email domain and new customers joining your club with a matching domain will be automatically added.

You can view and manage customers in your groups by clicking on the customers icon

You can tick and untick customers to add or remove them from the group, simply click sync customers to confirm you changes.
